So then, I thought I’d recover the cushions. I repainted some of the areas that weren’t cushions with black chalk paint (left a few places green).
BUT... Recovering just wasn’t enough, I thought I’d quilt them using lots of my Coke fabrics. I loved the result. I actually have four back cushions, the other is around somewhere.
These are a couple of old dressers I redid.
This one is decoupaged with real music paper. Then musical printouts placed on top, then the whole thing was chalked over with soft pastels. Three layers of polyurethane and new knobs finished it off.
This is the Son’s bed, a really quick quilt with large musical squares. And some pillows made with iron on sheets I made from jazz concert posters.
