Sea Life Shoulder Bag

I wanted a shoulder bag that would hold my stuff and had a separate pocket for my ipad.  I wanted something that was just me.  I decided to appliqué a fish purse. I think I may have gotten a little carried away.  I not only appliquéd the back and front in 3 dimensional appliqué and embroidery, I did the inside iPad pocket, too.  I love it though.

I didn't use a pattern for the bag. Jut kind of cut and sewed as I went.  I didn't plan out the sea life design either just made I tip as I went along.

Halloween Quilt

I have spent 7 or 8 years working on an appliqued and pieced Halloween quilt for my queen sized bed.  As I only work on it in October it's taken quite a while to complete.  I am almost done.  I am putting the blocks on a special page, and when I finish (hopefully this week) I will post it.

Braiding Rugs

I just noticed that I didn't gave anything about rug braiding on here! As that has lately occupied all my tv time, I shall add a new page for that.  I can't believe how behind I have gotten on this blog. I must do better.

This is the fairly large rug I made to go in my front hallway. It was made in greens and reds to match the part of my Coke collection that is on a bookcase in the hall.
